Straight Silicone Reducer As Transition of Different Sizes
Straight silicone reducer is used as a transition between two pipes of different sizes. It is wildly applied for transition between intercooler turbo, intake components and pipes, all of which are different sized.
For unique applications, straight silicone reducers are divided into three types: polyester reinforced is manufactured for every day use, Nomex reinforced for high temperature and high pressure and Fluoro liner for carrying oils & fuel.
Each of them carries wide selections of sizes to satisfy your particular requirements. Also, bespoke size is provided.
Polyester reinforced:
Reducer hose reinforced by premium polyester fabric is quite effective when carrying water, coolant, air, etc. in extreme temperatures from -55 °C to +170 °C .

- 3 to 5 plies polyester reinforced.
- UV and ozone resistant.
- Silicone liner creates barrier to isolate media.
- Color: black, red and blue.
- Remark: Silicone reducer reinforced by polyester is not compatible with oils & fuel.

Nomex reinforced
Nomex reinforced silicone reducer is highly recommended for high temperature and high pressure. Compared with polyester reinforced reducer, its operating temperature can reach +220 °C (+428 °F). It is frequently used in turbo boost hoses where other hoses fail.
Features:
Working temperature: -60 °C to 220 °C (-76 °F to +428 °F).
UV and ozone resistant.
High Flame-resistance.
Remark:
Silicone reducer reinforced by Nomex is not compatible with oils & fuel.
Nomex reinforced reducer is only in black.

Fluoro lined ( oil & fuel)
Straight silicone reducer with Fluoro liner is especially designed for carrying oils & fuel. Compared with other silicone hoses, the distinct difference is that the Fluoro liner prevents oil seepage through the hose wall. It is often used in turbocharger and intercooler hoses which meet Euro 3 and 4 emission levels.

- Recommended temperature: –60 °C to +225 °C (-76 °F to +437 °F).
- Reinforced by 3 to 4 plies premium polyester fabric.
